Volunteer Services

Welcome to Volunteer Services at UNC Health Care!

You Can Make a Difference.

Wanda Wooten with Oncology Tea Cart

Wanda Wooten heads up the Tea Cart service for Oncology patients.
We are currently expanding this program and need new volunteers!

If you desire to make a difference, to touch a life, to learn while helping others, or just to have fun,
UNC Health Care's Volunteer Services can find the right place for you.

Our many volunteers play an integral role in delivering first-class health care
to you, your family, and the entire state of North Carolina.

UNC Hospitals offers three categories of volunteers: (1) Adult, (2) College Student, and (3) High School (age 14-18).
Please review the volunteer opportunities available throughout the medical center to see which area is of interest to you.
